For over 65 years the Lord has blessed Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.  For many of those years this church has either been in a building campaign or a capital stewardship campaign to retire existing debt.  As a matter of fact, the church has been in so many building campaigns through the years that the standing joke around here has become “Forever We Build.”  You know what?  They are right.  They are, in fact, SO right that we have adopted that idea as our theme for this campaign.  We are calling it “Forever We Build...Building Lives...Building Families...Reaching People!”   

Forever.  Our commitment for this specific Capital Stewardship Campaign is for three years.  BUT, our commitment to biblical stewardship, to the Lordship of Christ, and to fulfilling His will in our church is forever.  It is a lifetime commitment.  Whether we are building a new facility, retiring existing debt, preparing for the future, or taking some intermediate steps…it is a forever commitment! 

We.  It’s not about one person or a small group.  It is a church.  Hundreds and hundreds of people all coming together to fulfill God’s will.  It is a "we" commitment. 

Build.   Since we are not building a building it is obviously not about building brick and mortar.  It is about building people and homes and lives. 

Building Lives . . . Building Families . . . Reaching People!  THAT is what this is all about!
