GSFBC College ministry desires to glorify God by connecting students to three core principles:
- LIVE – It is our desire to connect every student to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and helping him or her live a life surrendered solely to Him.
- LOVE - Love is the greatest need we have in life. It is important to connect with friends that will love, encourage, challenge, and inspire.
- REACH - The life calling of every believer is to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This begins in our homes and on our campuses. We desire to equip students for reaching the others both locally and globally by helping them navigate their lives toward God's purpose.
WEEKLY CONNECTIONS:
We meet for Bible Study every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in The Dorm (Room 211). Our goal is to connect with God through studying His Word. In a world that has a hard time establishing truth and absolutes, it is important for Christians to stay focused on Christ. This study will help us understand God and His unique plan for our lives as a body of believers and as individual servants.
Sunday morning Bible study is followed by GSFBC worship at 11 a.m. We also gather at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings for a casual time of worshiping and teaching. The amazing music presented by the GSFBC worship ministry provides a great opportunity to praise God. Pastor Jeff Williams is committed to sound Biblical teaching that is challenging, relevant, and thought-provoking to people of all ages.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The Connection at UALR
In a world where Christianity is trivialized by many, believers on campus often feel isolated and alone in their faith. The good news is that we do not have to take this journey by ourselves. We are praying for students to connect with one another and develop close bonds of friendship at The Connection. Most important, we are praying for a connection with God during our time together. Every week we will gather to worship and study Scripture. We seek to be people that Live, Love, and Reach and ultimately find our role in God’s grand epic of life. CHECK IT OUT & GET CONNECTED!
