Welcome to the College Ministry of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church!

We exist to equip and guide college-age young adults to live passionate, God-centered lives. Our goal is to provide a place for students to receive rich, biblical instruction, engage in authentic worship, serve their community, and enjoy Christ-centered relationships.

Here’s what we ask of students:

Come   It’s shocking how many students disengage from church life during their college years. Since college is one of the most formative times of life, it’s crucial to be connected to a biblically based church and that means showing up to worship!  Students meet at Small Group every Sunday morning at 9:30am in Room 211 for a light breakfast and Bible study. We then attend the 11:00am morning service in the Worship Center.

Connect…   Attendance is great, but God calls us to get involved in the life of the church and that can’t happen by just occasionally showing up to church! Connecting to the church body means getting to know people, walking through life together, and finding ways to serve. In order to connect, we provide various activities throughout the year for fellowship and discipleship.

Contribute…   While in college you need the church, but the church also needs you! God has gifted each person in a unique way and we want everyone to utilize their gifts to equip and encourage the body of Christ. There are numerous opportunities to contribute, such as our music ministry and children’s ministry at Geyer Springs, as well as outreach opportunities through our Geyer Sports and Community Missions ministries.

We are excited about what’s happening at Geyer Springs, and we would love to have you join us!
