GSFBC Singles Ministry desires to reach single adults in the Little Rock area with the life changing message of Jesus Christ and to build a community of people committed to loving and serving Him.
Our ministry is made up of three groups determined by age.
Singles 1 (20’s – 30’s)
Singles 2 (40’s – 50’s)
Singles 3 (50’s & up)
Each group offers Bible studies, missions, and service opportunities, as well as the opportunity to build friendships and experience fellowship in a community that is warm and friendly.
Because GSFBC cares greatly for Single Adults, we desire to glorify God by connecting people to three core life principles.
We believe that everyone needs to be connected to:
- A Loving Savior through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that all things were created by Him and that He is the only way to heaven.
- A Community of Friends. Like iron sharpening iron, it is important to have friends that will encourage, challenge, and inspire.
- A Life Calling. Everyone is endowed by God with unique gifts and talents that are to be used to serve, encourage, and inspire others. We want to equip you spiritually and help you navigate your life toward God’s best.
Weekly Schedule:
Sunday Bible Study
At 11:00 a.m., we gather for Bible study. Because or ministry is organized generationally, there are two classes for Singles 1. Singles 1A, the 20’s class, meets in room 211. And Singles 1B, the 30’s – Early 40’s class, meets in room 215. Studying God’s Word helps us understand His plan for our lives and our unique role in His kingdom. Bible study is also a great opportunity to connect with other believers and provides a community for support and encouragement.

Singles 2A is for singles ranging from early 40’s to early 50’s. Singles 2A is a tight knit group who love and support one other as they study God’s Word together. The consistent teaching and leadership of Joel Schmidt provides an atmosphere of growth and encouragement.
Singles 2B is for singles ranging form early 40’s to early 50’s . This class features a diverse faculty of teachers and leaders. This is highlighted by biblically relevant teaching as well as hearts to serve the community and others.
Singles 2C is our ladies only class and is for ladies that are in their 30’s to late 50’s. This is a close fellowship of ladies who enjoy studying God’s Word together as they support and encourage one another.
All Singles 2 groups meet for Bible study at 9:30 a.m. and attend worship at 11:00 a.m. All three classes are involved in fellowships, mission trips, service opportunities and retreats.

Singles 3 is for singles from early 50’s to mid 60’s. They meet at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11:00 a.m. Singles 3 is an active group of adults that enjoy studying God’s Word and sharing life interests together. They are actively involved in service, fellowship, and ministry throughout the life of GSFBC.
The Early Hour Singles includes singles from late 50’s and beyond that meet at 8:30 a.m. This class is open to all singles and is attended by members who serve in other ministries during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. hours as well as those who need to attend an early morning Bible study group. This class features the teaching of Ken Coe and provides an atmosphere for growth and encouragement.
All Singles 3 classes are involved in activities of fellowship, missions, and fun.
