How to Join Geyer Springs

 Following each worship service (morning and evening), an invitation is given for anyone wishing to make a decision. During this time, anyone who would like to join the church is invited to come to the front and share that decision with one of our pastors. Joining the church is simply identifying or connecting with this local body of believers.

 To join Geyer Springs, you must be a believer. If you have not yet trusted Christ, one of our pastors or counselors will be happy to tell you how to do that when you respond to the invitation. For more on how to trust Christ, click here.

 There are several ways to join Geyer Springs:

1. By trusting Christ for the very first time.

2. By baptism if you have already trusted Christ but have not been baptized.

3. By letter from another Southern Baptist Church where you were a member.

4. By statement – your testimony that you have trusted Christ and been baptized by immersion in a non-Southern Baptist Church.

We recommend that all of our adult new members take a two-session class, DISCOVER Geyer Springs.  This class deals with basic Baptist doctrine as well as helping to identify spiritual gifts and find a place of service within the body of our church.
