At Geyer Springs First Baptist Church
WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!

GSFBC was founded on prayer and continues to make prayer a vital part of our ministry. Our people pray together as families, in groups and in a personal and individual quiet time with the Father. God entreats us to spend time with Him through our prayer time and Bible study time. In Jeremiah, we are reminded, "You shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart."  (Jeremiah 29:13)

We believe that we should pray unceasingly because of our enemy, Satan, who is out to destroy the work of God. We have two primary defenses against him: The Word of God and prayer. Jesus set the example for us when His disciples asked Him to teach them to pray. They observed that when Jesus prayed, things happened.
