Below are the comments of 2 of our Singles that spent time in Peru this summer. Read on to see how God is moving around our world!Having the opportunity to go to Peru was truly a wonderful experience. While we were in Cajamara, the city in which I served, we were able to meet many physical needs which opened doors to also meet spiritual needs. God is truly at work in Peru! If you ever hear God’s calling to go, don’t hesitate! It’s an experience you will never forget!

Getting the opportunity to go back to Peru this year was a unique experience for me. I once again was able to serve in Quito Arma, in the Huancavelica region in southern Peru. It was such a blessing to see how the Holy Spirit has been working in the lives of the new Christians in the village in which I served since I had last been there. We had an opportunity to have Bible studies with these new believers on two separate nights. They have such a hunger and thirst for the Word of God that I wish we had here. My continued prayer for all the villages in which our teams work is that these new believers would continue to grow in Christ, that they would begin to take on the task of sharing their faith, and that God would continue to raise up pastors and leaders for the church in each village. I look forward to returning to Peru on one of the next mission trips, and I hope that some of you will be able to join me.
