Did you know that this month represents 31 years that our television ministry has broadcast our services?  More than 1500 Geyer Springs services have been televised since our first broadcast in 1986.  We are so thankful for the opportunities we have had and for the incredible teams we have worked with; we are especially grateful for the leadership and ministry of Linda Bennett who has led this ministry from day one.

While we celebrate all that has been done in the past, we also look forward to our future as we continue to seek the best ways to use technology to get the Gospel out to those who need to hear the truth.  In consultation with Linda and our directional team, we have made the decision to end our television broadcasting at the end of 2017.  The resources expended (financial and personnel) could be better used on a variety of platforms available now. As Linda has stated in our meetings, “We are ready to move to the next level.”

While many church members view our television broadcast, most unchurched people are viewing through the other platforms we are using (live streaming, church website, church app, Facebook live). To clarify, we are not stopping our sharing of the Gospel through broadcast, just changing the way we do it to be more effective and efficient with our resources and opportunities.

What does this mean for you, other members, or people in the community who view our broadcast?  We are spending the next three months getting the word out and helping people know how they can continue to “tune in.” See below for different platform options and how to use them! For any members who need assistance knowing how to get connected, our team is going to be available to assist them personally and individually.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thanks to advancements in technology, we are able to provide access to Sunday services and previous sermons through multiple channels with potential worldwide reach! As a result of our use of these technologies, there are multiple ways for you to watch Sunday morning worship services live as they are occurring or watch previous sermons that you may have missed or want to revisit!

WATCHING PREVIOUS MESSAGES

Beyond Sunday mornings, if you would like to watch or listen to previous messages or catch up on those you have missed, you may do so with one of the following options:

www.gsfbc.org/media – We post the previous Sunday’s message to our website each week, and you can find all of them HERE or by selecting ‘Message Library” in the “Media” menu above!

GSFBC App – If you have the GSFBC App, it is easy to find previous messages grouped in the series they were a part of! Get the App HERE and select the “Media” tab! If you have an Apple TV, you can watch the same archive of messages!
