Geyer Springs First Baptist Preschool Center provides a variety of classes to serve as an extension of the home in helping preschoolers develop spiritual, physical, emotional, mental and social skills through quality learning experiences.  The Center opened in September 1970 as a ministry of the church and continues today in the facilities of the Preschool/Children's wing at 12400 Interstate 30.  Luke 2:52 is the focus of the Center as teachers plan learning experiences in a nurturing, loving, Christ-centered setting.  The Center is licensed by the Arkansas Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education.  For more information about openings, you may contact Susie Shumaker, Director of Weekday Early Education, or call the Center office at 501-455-5911.

Morning Preschool Classes provide early learning experiences for children who are 3 or 4 years old.  3-year classes meet two mornings each week and 4-year classes meet three mornings each week during the school year.  Lunch Box Kids makes extended care available each Thursday or Friday for a small additional fee.

Full Day Classes for 2 1/2 - 4 years old meet year round, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.  These classes also provide learning center teaching each morning with opportunities for children to develop skills and a varied schedule to meet the needs of the children throughout the day.

Flexi Classes are full day classes available 2 or 3 days weekly, year round.  These children are scheduled along with full day classmates in 2 1/2 - 3 year classes.

Mother's Day Out meet on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Classes are provided for children 4 months - 3 years of age during  the school year.  Summer sessions are not scheduled.  Public enrollment for fall opens in February.  Mother's Day Out enrollment opens in May.  You may call the Center office at 501-455-5911 to check for current openings, or for more information contact Susie Shumaker.
